Saturday, we had the honor of filming Amy & Shelby's wedding. What a beautiful couple (both inside and out)! There are no other words to describe Amy and Shelby's wedding this weekend, but pure perfection. From their ceremony at University Christian Church to their reception at River Crest Country Club, this wedding was all about details, details, details! Thanks to Jan Hurn's precision planning, this wedding was smooth sailing all the way.
It was wonderful to see the many personal touches added by family and friends to the ceremony and reception. At every turn, there were mementos woven in to the entire day that spoke to guests of tradition, family, love, and of course, FUN!!! I have never witnessed another family as a whole, that can dance like this one. Of course, it was near impossible not to bust a move to the eclectic sounds of the awesome band, Cuvee (Koo-vay).
Todd Events did an amazing job with the flowers and anytime I was close, the fragrance permeated the air. Not only did it smell wonderful, but the entire day was just simply stunning to look at. Can't wait to see some pics captured by Kassie Kitchens of CandidsByKassie. Thanks for hanging with us, Kassie & Kate!
Did I mention how detailed this wedding was??? For instance, in order to announce to the guests that the reception "after party" was moving to the Diamond Bar downstairs in the club, the guests were given diamond ring party favors that glowed in the dark. It's all in the details. With a little help from Red Bull and some tasty pizza, the guests were ready for round two and for Jeff Mitchell of Phonophreaks. Wow, talk about working a crowd...the man is a brilliant mixer and truly gifted on the turntables!
Guests were not disappointed as they left with one last treat (drum roll please), the CANDY BAR which featured Amy & Shelby's favorite picks. Without a doubt, "Clark's Candy" (handmade toffee candy especially prepared by Amy's father) was the crowd favorite. Yum!
CONGRATULATIONS TO AMY & SHELBY !!
Here's a short snip of the perfect ending to the perfect day set to the very last song played.
